Maxi Knapp
Together with the “older” vogelfrei pilots, Maxi’s father was one of the paragliding pioneers in the Allgäu and so it was almost inevitable that Maxi would sooner or later find himself under a paraglider. His great talent was recognized at a young age and many experienced pilots were happy to take him flying because of his likeability. He very quickly broadened his flying horizons with both cross-country and acrobatic flying before embarking on his career as a tandem pilot. In addition to flying, the budding wood technician also volunteers for the Oberstdorf mountain rescue service and has often been found skippering sailing boats in the Mediterranean in recent years. In any case, it never gets boring with Maxi.
